However, many plasticizers can be added to PVC, and then it can be made into soft PVC. The so-called hard PVC is the polyvinyl chloride PVC plastic with less than 5 kg of plasticizer added to 100 kg of PVC resin powder, such as construction drains, downpipes, plastic steel windows, credit cards, etc. are all hard PVC. Plasticizers with an added amount of more than 5 kg are called semi-rigid PVC, and more than 25 kg are called soft PVC, such as ordinary wire sheaths, disposable infusion tubes, some inflatable toys, soft curtains, and transparent plastic table mats called soft glass sold in supermarkets. Etc. are all made of soft PVC. PVC can also be colored arbitrarily to make a variety of transparent and opaque colored products, so PVC is the most widely used plastic at present, and the price is only about 1/2 to 1/4 of PC Polycarbonate .
